Book Review - 100 Ways To Train The Perfect Dog

As a dog owner myself, this is the book that helped me understand and train my husky Arapahoe.

It is ideal for both the first time and experienced dog owner wanting the perfect pooch. Sarah Fisher and Marie Miller are some of the most knowledgeable dog people in the country and both are regularly seen demonstrating their work at events .

This book is about the positive reinforcement approach to dog training and includes the use of clickers and treat bags, very popular with our four legged friends! It demonstrates that choke chains and other old fashioned equipment are no longer necessary to train that perfect dog. The book guides the owner step by step in the process of dog training and also looks at the nutritional needs of the dog, plus there is good information about the equipment necessary for that training process. Whilst I think this is one of the best dog training books on the market, of course it is not a substitute for a good puppy training class as that provides a wonderful opportunity for dogs to learn to socialise and make friends.
