Welcome to Xtra Dog, the company which is devoted to the comfort and welfare of all dogs, everywhere.
We pride ourselves in offering a range of ethical products for dogs, their training and wellbeing. Our range includes our own design of fleece walking harness designed by Marie Miller (leading dog behaviourist and Tellington TTouch practitioner) and Sindy Ratani (a well known dog musher and designer of working dog equipment). These harnesses are designed with a front ring as well as a top ring to assist in balancing dogs to stop them pulling on the lead. These are complemented by our range of double-ended 2m training leads.
Xtra Dog is also the European home of Spiffy Dog, the world's most comfortable dog collar, the Air Collar. This collar, made of the same soft porous material as training shoes, is the softest, whilst still being one of the strongest, collars on the market. Being lightweight, breathable and comfortable and available in 18 designs, the
air collar is as ideal for the fashion conscious dog-about-town as the country working dog that likes to get dirty and swim, as our collars are machine washable and quick drying. The collars are complemented by our unique 6-in-1 multi-use lead, that can be used as either a short 4ft lead, a long 6ft lead, a double-ended lead, a hands-free training lead or even as a tether or agility lead. The handle matches your Air Collar and is made of the same soft material as the collar.

In 2009 Pet Product Marketing, one of the UK's leading pet trade magazines, voted
Spiffy Dog one of the editor's choice products and featured the brand on the cover as one of the brands to work with in 2010. It was also voted as one of the best products in 2008 by US based Dogfancy magazine.
In May 2009 the offices of Xtra Dog opened its doors to bring these incredibile products to Europe. Xtra Dog is the official European distributor of Spiffy Dog products.
Xtra Dog also offers a full range of Tellington TTouch equipment including Sarah Fisher's TTouch harness made specifically for TTouch groundwork and the only harness to carry the official TTouch branding.
We are now also distributing a range of fleece and foam working harnesses for sledding, cani-X, skijoring, bikejoring and scootering. These are made in Montana in the Rocky Mountains and include the Zima X-back harness, the original X-back harness that has been made in Montana for the last 50 years and has been copied but never bettered. This is part of our full sledding range.
Finally Xtra Dog offers dog coats, natural dog food, training books, clickers, leg wraps, doggy backpacks, lifejackets and other useful training equipment. We are also delighted to have been appointed as an official dealer for Pawtrekker dog scooters.
Our company was set up to offer quality products for dogs, their training and wellbeing and we are proud to be associated to Marie Miller's Paws 'n' Learn Training in Coventry, one of the UK's leading dog training schools, Siberian Husky Club (Welfare) GB of which we are a sponsor, the Assocation of Pet Dog Trainers UK (APDT) for whom we sponsor their Say No To Choke Chain leaflet, and Tellington TTouch, an ethos that we promote at all events that we attend and on this website. We are also a sponsor of SARDA Cantech Search and Rescue Dogs.
If you have a dog problem, please feel free to give us a call or drop us an email. You don't have to spend money with us for us to help.
Best Wishes
Alex, Matt, Marie, Mischief, Arapahoe and Spiffy
