These harnesses were designed by Tellington TTouch Instructor, Marie Miller and used and recommended by many dog trainers and Tellington TTouch practitioners and instructors. They were also recently seen on TV on Bang Goes the Theory. This is the only fleece dog harness that was specifically designed for the Tellington TTouch training method and all our walking harnesses come with a front ring as standard. We pride ourselves in our design, the choice of sizes and colours, but should we not be able to fit one of our standard sizes then please ask us about our custom fitting service. Xtra Dog offers Tellington TTouch training here at our base near Mansfield in Nottingahamshire and covers the East Midlands (Nottinghamshire, Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Noth Leicestershire, along with Central London. We are also in easy travelling distance from South Yorkshire and have Tellington TTouch clients from Nottingham as we are only 40 minutes drive from the centre of Nottingham and 10 minutes from the centre of Mansfield. Our certified Tellington TTouch Practitioner (P1), Alex Wilson and works with clients on a one to one basis along with teaching one day hands-on workshops around the UK. Alex is also a puppy trainer having spend 6 years as class instructor at one on the UK's most respected puppy training schools. He also loves to help clients who have issues with dogs including those that pull on the lead, a specialist area of his interests. The Tellington TTouch leading techniques are a fantastic method to help stop pulling in a kind effective way. We are members of the Pet Professional Guild and opperate under a code of ethic which bans the use of any aversive equipment including choke chains, slip leads, pinch collars and electric collars.
Tellington TTouch is a teaching method for animals that incorporates body work and ground exercises where appropriate, to help improve co-ordination, balance and athletic ability whilst deepening further communication and understanding between the animal and its owner/carer. TTouch is a very effective teaching method for dogs that pull, are noise sensitive, who are reactive, bad travellers to mention just a few things that it can help with. Tellington TTouch combines light pressure touch with slow groundwork exercised to help the dog's nervous system cope with situations that we take for granted.

The body wrap is a piece of equipment commonly used in Tellington TTouch. Generally we would use the American elasticated Ace wrap available from Xtra Dog. The wrap will change the posture of the dog due feedback received from the nervous system. It will help the nervous system be more effective. Many people use wraps to help improve the physical and mental balance of dogs and they can also help dogs with fear and phoebia issues like fireworks, thunder. They can also benefits dogs that are bad travellers.
